Original acrylic painting on Aqua Board. While fishing a lake in MI I saw these mayflies coming up to the surface of the lake to shed their skeleton and after much effort and vibration on the water, they would fly off. Many of them were eaten by trout, bass, and panfish before they could escape.

An original painting on Aqua Board featuring a large Brown trout crusing for mayflies. The Aqua Board was mounted onto a painted harboard used for a background. It is framed with a rustic gold brown frame with a black inner frame.
This original painting has been sealed with several coats of archival varnish with Uv protection. There is mo need for glass on this style of painting. Available through the studio. Contact me for additional information.
